Khanh Hoa - Functional agencies of Khanh Hoa province have just fined another bread business establishment for violating food safety regulations.

On July 29, information from the Department of Health of Khanh Hoa province said that functional agencies had made a record and issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Co Hong pan noodle business establishment (the facility owner is Ms. V.T.S, residing in Tay Nha Trang ward) with a fine of 2 million VND.

According to functional agencies, this establishment has acts of trading and processing food on equipment and tools that do not ensure food safety and hygiene.

The inspection team requested the establishment to temporarily suspend food business operations from the time of inspection on July 22 until it fully meets food safety conditions. This establishment is located on Thai Nguyen street, opposite Nha Trang Station.

The Department of Health said that through inspection, Co Hong pan noodle shop violated food safety and hygiene conditions.

However, functional agencies denied information that some people who ate at Co Hong pan noodle shop showed signs of food poisoning.

And according to a survey at some hospitals, functional agencies recorded many cases of food poisoning signs after using products of the Dong Man bread facility.

Up to now, Nha Trang ward has established an inter-sectoral inspection team to directly inspect Dong Man I business household at 23B Ngo Gia Tu, Nha Trang ward.

At the time of inspection, the establishment was required to temporarily suspend food service business operations. On the same day, the facility owner also proactively closed two other business locations in Nam Nha Trang ward.

The inter-sectoral delegation determined that Dong Man I facility had many violations of food safety and administratively fined a total of 14 million VND for the following acts: Failure to implement the three-step inspection regime; failure to store food samples as prescribed; employees directly in contact with food not wearing masks; failure to equip garbage collection tools at the processing area.

In addition to sanctioning, the inspection team requested the facility to continue to temporarily suspend operations from the inspection date July 20, 2026, and coordinate with functional agencies in the process of investigating and verifying the case.

Promptly overcome existing problems, pay for medical examination and treatment costs for related hospitalization cases (if any).

At the same time, they are only allowed to resume operations when they fully meet the food safety conditions according to regulations.
