On September 20, the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Finance announced that it had granted an investment registration certificate for the Van Canh Binh Dinh Wind Power Plant project in Canh Lien commune (Gia Lai) to Nexif Ratch Energy SE Asia Company Limited.
The project has a total investment of more than VND 5,700 billion, a designed capacity of 143MW, and an expected electricity output of about 391.8 million kWh/year. The implementation progress is from the third quarter of 2025 to the third quarter of 2028, with an operating period of 50 years.
According to the design, the project will use more than 48 hectares to build items such as wind turbine foundation, underground cables and over-the- air connection lines, transformer stations, internal traffic systems, management operators, etc.
When put into operation, the project hopes to provide clean power sources from renewable energy to the national system, contributing to ensuring energy security, serving the needs of socio-economic development, while reducing losses in power transmission.
At the same time, it contributes to budget revenue, creates jobs for local workers, promotes industrial production, and contributes to the implementation of the province's double-digit economic growth target in the coming time.
The Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requires investors to establish project enterprises in the locality, fulfill tax obligations according to regulations, and support rural transport infrastructure to serve the project and people's lives.
Investors must implement the project on the right goals, scale, progress and fully comply with regulations on investment, land, construction, electricity, environment, fire prevention and fighting, labor safety, etc. After being leased land, the enterprise must arrange enough capital to implement the project.
The Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee emphasized that investors are not allowed to transfer, buy, sell or transfer project ownership in any form before completing the project according to the approved plan, unless there is written approval from the Provincial People's Committee. In case of violation, the project may be revoked without compensation.
