Sleeper bus burns fiercely on National Highway 18

Bac Ninh - A passenger bus on its way from Bac Ninh to Noi Bai airport suddenly caught fire.

At around 2:30 p.m. on September 20, a sleeper bus with license plate 36H - 1001.XX. traveling from Bac Ninh province to Noi Bai airport (Hanoi) suddenly caught fire when moving to National Highway 18, Vo Cuong ward (Bac Ninh city).

The fire broke out quickly, causing many passengers to panic, however, thanks to the timely response, 8 passengers and the driver were able to escape the vehicle safely.

Upon receiving the report, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Bac Ninh Provincial Police) urgently deployed forces to the scene.

Two fire trucks and 12 officers and soldiers were mobilized, coordinating with Vo Cuong Ward Police and the Traffic Police Department to organize fire fighting, ensure security and order and traffic flow.

By 3:00 p.m., the fire was completely extinguished.

Currently, the authorities are examining the scene, investigating, and clarifying the cause of the fire.
