This number decreased sharply compared to the previous 3 months (from October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024), the Traffic Police force of Lao Cai province detected and fined 231 cases.
The violations handled include: 960 cases of speeding; 982 cases of alcohol concentration violations; 15 cases of overloading; 37 cases of oversized cargo; 14 cases of not obeying traffic lights and signs; 18 cases of not obeying stop orders.
Lao Cai Traffic Police recommend that people strictly comply with road traffic regulations to ensure safety for themselves and those around them.
In addition, when paying the fine, for cars, people need to prepare the following documents: Vehicle registration, certificate of technical safety and environmental protection inspection, driver's license of the violator, citizen identification card of the violator (1 photocopy of each type of document).
From the beginning of 2025 until now, Lao Cai Provincial Traffic Police have detected and issued 634 tickets, fined 1.9 billion VND, revoked 144 driving licenses, deducted points from 17 driving licenses, and detained 232 vehicles.
