On July 10, Da Nang Department of Health informed that at about 9 am on July 9, 2026, citizen Tran Sy K. came to Da Nang City Medical Examination Center with a request to copy the medical examination records of Mr. Doan Tien.
However, at the time of working, Mr. K. could not present any legal documents such as a power of attorney, a letter of introduction from functional agencies or documents proving a close relationship with the person being examined.
Based on the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment No. 15/2023/QH15 (specifically in Clause 2, Article 10, Clause 5, Article 45 and Article 69), the Center's staff resolutely refused to provide records, as well as not to allow taking and copying documents to protect the privacy and personal information of patients in accordance with legal regulations.
Immediately after leaving the headquarters, this citizen posted related information on social networks, causing many mixed public opinions.
Faced with the above situation, the Da Nang City Department of Health affirmed that it is urgently coordinating with relevant functional agencies to verify and clarify the entire incident. The Department of Health is committed to publicly and promptly announcing the verification results to the people and media agencies as soon as possible.
