On March 10, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province organized the award ceremony for the Dak Lak Provincial Brand Identification Logo Design Contest.
Mr. Tran Hong Tien, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, emphasized: "After the merger of administrative units between Dak Lak and Phu Yen, the construction of a common identification symbol is of particular importance.
The symbol is not only a visual recognition sign, but also a symbol of historical and cultural identity, potential and aspiration for development of the land converging between the majestic Central Highlands cultural space and the traditional South Central Coast.
After a month of launching, the organizing committee received 402 works from 183 authors. The judging process was carried out seriously through many rounds, ensuring criteria on artistic quality, symbolism, creativity and practical applicability.
The judging panel selected 5 works for the final round and organized a widespread consultation with departments, agencies, branches, localities and people. As a result, the logo of author Hoang Thi Thu Thao (residing in Da Nang) won first prize.
The organizing committee awarded the certificate of first prize and a cash prize of 150 million VND to Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Thao and 4 consolation prizes, each prize worth 10 million VND.
