On January 29, functional forces of Dak Lak province are still investigating and clarifying the cause of a traffic accident that killed a child.
According to initial information, at about 10:30 am on the same day, an accident occurred on the inter-communal road section in Giang My village (Tam Giang commune) related to a truck with license plate 47C-217.XX driven by Mr. N.T.H (resident of Phu Xuan commune).
When arriving at the above location, the car stopped at the intersection, the driver got out of the vehicle. However, at this time, the car suddenly drifted and collided with a young child walking. After that, the car continued to drift and collided with a motorbike driven by the child's mother, traveling behind.
As a result, child N.T.L unfortunately died, and her mother, Ms. L.T.P, was injured.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
