Traffic accident on National Highway 9 kills woman

    Quang Tri - A serious traffic accident occurred between a truck and a motorbike, causing one person to die on the spot and one person to be seriously injured.

    On the afternoon of June 3, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police confirmed that at around 11:00 a.m. on June 3, at Km72+450 on National Highway 9 through Lang Vy (Tan Long Commune, Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri Province), a traffic accident occurred between a motorbike and a truck.

    According to initial information, Ms. H.T.H (born in 1993) was driving a motorbike without a license plate, carrying Ms. H.T.T (born in 1979, residing in Tang Co Hang village, lia commune, Huong Hoa district) behind her, traveling in the same direction, when it collided with a truck with license plate 74C-060.xx driven by Mr. N.V.M (born in 1991, residing in Dong Luong ward, Dong Ha city).

    The strong collision caused Ms. H.T.T to die on the spot, while Ms. H.T.H was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room.

    Huong Hoa district authorities were present at the scene to direct traffic, conduct an investigation, and clarify the cause of the accident.
