On the afternoon of May 31, a source from the People's Committee of Thanh An commune (Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province) confirmed that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, killing one person.
The accident occurred at 6:15 a.m. on May 31 at Km 0+ 400 of the North bypass of Dong Ha city in Thanh An commune (Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province).
Ms. T.T.T (born in 1945, residing in Cam Lo village, Thanh An commune) walked on the North-Dong Ha bypass in the direction of National Highway 1A to Ho Chi Minh Road. When arriving at the above location, a traffic accident occurred, causing Ms. T.T.T to die on the spot.
After the incident, the related vehicles left the scene and are currently being searched by the authorities.
