Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank, code: STB) has just announced the decision to dismiss two Deputy General Directors from the same position from May 27, 2025, in the context that this bank is making notable changes in senior personnel.
In which, Sacombank dismissed Mr. Nguyen Ba Tri from the position of Deputy General Director and Director of Ho Chi Minh City Area. According to the announcement from Sacombank, the reason for the dismissal is to nominate Mr. Tri to the Board of Members of Saigon Thuong Tin Bank Finance Leasing Company Limited - a subsidiary of the Sacombank ecosystem.
Mr. Nguyen Ba Tri was born in 1968, has a Master's degree in Business Administration and more than 30 years of experience in the finance and banking sector. Having joined Sacombank in 1996, he held many key positions in the system before being appointed to the Executive Board in 2012.
On the same day, Sacombank also approved the dismissal of Mr. Hoang Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director and Director of the Northern Region. After resigning, Mr. Hai continued to work at Sacombank in a new role as Deputy Director of the Northern Region, from May 27, 2025.
Mr. Hoang Thanh Hai was born in 1968, has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and has worked in the finance and banking industry for 28 years. He joined Sacombank in 2002, held many management positions before being appointed to the Executive Board in 2014.
These are the next senior personnel changes after Ms. Nguyen Duc Thach Diem left the position of General Director of Sacombank on May 22, 2025. Ms. Diem will continue to hold the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sacombank for the 2022-2026 term.
At the same time, Sacombank recruited and appointed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhung to hold the position of Acting General Director of Sacombank from May 27, 2025.
