According to a quick report from Vietnam Expressway Operation and Maintenance Joint Stock Company, the accident occurred at about 12:14 pm at the intersection of Tong Son commune, Thanh Hoa province.
At the above time, a passenger car with license plate 29K-021. xx was traveling on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 highway. When approaching the Tong Son commune intersection, this vehicle collided with a car with license plate 35A-701. xx and a truck with license plate 99H-037. xx, both moving in the same direction.
The accident did not cause any casualties, but all three vehicles were heavily damaged.
Also in the afternoon of the same day, another accident also occurred on the highway (section passing through Truc Lam ward, Thanh Hoa province), when a truck overturned itself.
Specifically, at 2:30 PM, at Km368+250, North - South expressway in Truc Lam ward, an incident occurred where a car with license plate 81H-024. xx traveling in the direction of Nghe An - Hanoi overturned itself, and goods fell onto the road. The incident did not cause any casualties, but caused traffic congestion in both directions.
Immediately after the accidents occurred, functional forces coordinated with the Traffic Police Department to organize to restrict one lane, regulate and divert traffic to ensure safety for vehicles passing through the area.
