On the afternoon of September 9, a series of accidents involving four cars occurred on Phu Huu Bridge, causing local traffic congestion.
At around 4:00 p.m. the same day, a container truck driven by a male driver was traveling on Vo Chi Cong Street, from Lien Phuong roundabout to the High-Tech Park. While going uphill from Phu Huu Bridge (Long Truong Ward), this car suddenly collided with a 16-seat car.
The strong collision caused the 16-seat car to be pushed forward, colliding consecutively with two other cars. At the scene, the vehicles were severely damaged, the front and rear foundations were distorted, and some light boxes were broken.
At the time of the incident, there was light rain, traffic congestion in the area, making it difficult for vehicles to move.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Cat Lai Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) was present at the scene to regulate traffic and handle the incident.
