On the morning of August 1st, functional forces in Dak Lak province are still clarifying a serious traffic accident that occurred at the intersection between National Highway 27 and the East Ho Chi Minh bypass, passing through Ea Ktur commune, killing a female student.
According to initial information, at about 7:30 am on the same day, Mr. P.T. D (resident of Thai Nguyen province) was driving a truck with license plate 50H-161. XX on National Highway 27 in the direction from Trung Hoa market to the roundabout intersecting with the East Ho Chi Minh bypass.
When reaching the roundabout, the driver steered the car to turn right to go into the East Ho Chi Minh bypass, then collided with an electric bicycle driven by N.N.P. T (born 2011), carrying N.T. T. H (born 2011, both residing in hamlet 3, Ea Ktur commune) traveling in the same direction.
As a result, child H died. Child N.N.P. T was injured, and the vehicle was damaged.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
