On May 3, the People's Committee of Bac Trach commune (Quang Tri province) said that a traffic accident had just occurred on the Bung - Van Ninh expressway in the area.
According to initial information, at about 4:30 am on May 3, at Km615+900 of the Bung - Van Ninh expressway, passing through Tan Hoi village, Bac Trach commune, a truck with license plate 35H-011. xx driven by Mr. Nguyen Duc Luong (born 1995, residing in Lai Thanh commune, Ninh Binh province) was traveling in the South - North direction.
On the car was Mr. N.V.L (born 1998), when arriving at the above location, the truck collided with a tractor truck with license plate 74H-042. xx pulling trailer 73RM-004. xx driven by Mr. Bui Van Dat (born 1989, residing in Truong Phu commune, Quang Tri province).
As a result, Mr. N.V.L was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room at Bac Quang Tri General Hospital but died later, Mr. Nguyen Duc Luong was slightly injured.
The accident also damaged 2 vehicles.
Currently, the cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
