On June 30, the Hanoi People's Court held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to appoint the Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of the affiliated area.
This is an event marking the first practical implementation of the regional People's Court organization model according to the Law on People's Court Organization 2024 (amended), officially effective from July 1, 2025.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky - Chief Justice of the Hanoi People's Court - emphasized that the implementation of the model of regional People's Courts under the provincial People's Court is a major step in the process of judicial reform, stipulated in the Law on Organization of the People's Court 2024 (amended) - just passed by the National Assembly on June 24.
The establishment of the Regional People's Court aims to realize the goal of streamlining the apparatus, allocating resources reasonably, improving the quality of trial, and better meeting the requirements of the people in the new situation. That is a testament to the determination of the Party and State in building a modern, professional, honest and servant judiciary.
The officials appointed to hold the positions of Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of the region this time are all people with solid professional qualifications, political courage, pure professional ethics and have made many contributions to the trial and management work. This is both an honor and a great responsibility in this challenging but also full of expectations transformation period.
Chief Justice Nguyen Xuan Ky believes that the regional People's Court will become a symbol of just trust in the heart of the Capital, meeting the expectations of the Party, State and people for a modern, honest and decent judiciary.

Nguyen Manh Hung - Chief Justice of Hoan Kiem District People's Court - was appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 1.
Pham Ngoc Thanh - Chief Justice of Dong Da District People's Court - was appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 2.
Pham Xuan Thuy - Chief Justice of Hai Ba Trung District People's Court - was appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 3.
Do Thi Thuy Hanh - Chief Justice of the People's Court of Bac Tu Liem District - was appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 4.
Bui Quang Trung - Chief Justice of Gia Lam District People's Court - was appointed to the position of Chief Justice of Region 5 People's Court.
Dao Duy Vuong - Chief Justice of Ha Dong District People's Court - was appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 6.
Nguyen Thi Hong Ha - Chief Justice of Long Bien District People's Court - was appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 7.
Nguyen Truong Giang - Chief Justice of Tay Ho District People's Court - was appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 8.
