At about 1:30 a.m. on June 4, on the Hue City bypass, through the 24 gas station (Km10+100), a serious traffic accident occurred between a passenger bus and a truck, killing 1 person and injuring 28 others.
According to initial information, the passenger bus with license plate 36B-036.xx, driven by driver Mai Van H. (born in 1978, residing in Thanh Hoa), crashed into the rear of a truck with license plate 17H-011.xx.
At the time of the collision, the passenger bus was carrying 39 people. The accident injured 28 people, of which 23 were slightly injured, 4 people had broken legs (1 case of broken both legs, complex injuries), and 1 person died on the spot.
The truck had 3 people in the car at the time of the accident: Driver Vu Quoc V. (born in 1981, residing in Dong Hung, Thai Binh) and two people traveling with him, Bui Manh H. (born in 1983) and Bui Manh C. (born in 2008), both residing in Thai Binh.
The authorities quickly arrived at the scene to rescue, take the injured to the emergency room and regulate traffic.
Currently, the authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
