Initial information, at about 8:15 pm on March 28, at Km116+300 National Highway 4D (belonging to Chu Lin 2 village, Ta Phin commune), a car with license plate 16N-13XX driven by driver Tran Trung K (born 1995, residing in Hong Bang ward, Hai Phong city), traveling in the direction from Sa Pa ward to Lao Cai ward, collided with a motorbike with license plate 24B1-636XX moving in the same direction.
At the time of the accident, the motorbike was driven by Mr. Tran Van H (born 1968), carrying Ms. Le Thi H (born 1975) behind him, both residing in group 1, O Quy Ho, Sa Pa ward.
The strong collision caused two motorcyclists to be seriously injured and taken to the emergency room at Sa Pa Regional General Hospital. However, at 9:54 pm on the same day, Mr. Tran Van H died. Ms. Le Thi H is being monitored and treated.
Immediately after receiving the news, traffic police forces were present at the scene, organized traffic diversion, and coordinated to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
