The accident happened on the afternoon of May 1st on the Ho Chi Minh road project, the section passing the intersection with DH 716 road in Long Hoa commune, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, at the above time, the ambulance was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh road project. When it reached the section passing the intersection with DH 716 road in Long Hoa commune, it collided with a motorbike driven by a man.
The strong collision caused the motorcyclist to fall to the road, lying motionless. Passersby ran to help, however, the seriously injured man died. The incident was later reported to functional agencies.
Upon receiving the news, Long Hoa Commune Police were present to blockade the scene, coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City Police units to handle the accident.

Talking to reporters, the leader of Long Hoa Commune People's Committee said that the ambulance in the Bau Bang commune accident passed by, and the man about 45 years old riding a motorbike was a local resident. Currently, the police agency is handling the scene and investigating to clarify the accident.
Section of road that has not been accepted for use
According to people's reflections, the newly built road, vehicles are traveling at very high speeds, posing many dangers.
It is known that the section where the accident occurred belongs to a construction package of the Ho Chi Minh road project, Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section. In which, the section passing through Binh Duong (formerly) is about 31.5 km long, built from the end of 2023, and nearly completed by the end of 2025. However, to date, the road section has not been accepted for official use.
During the waiting process for acceptance, the contractor set up barriers. However, people still arbitrarily removed barriers to circulate on this road.
