On May 30, information from Tuyen Quang Provincial Police said that functional forces had just handled a case of alcohol concentration violation.
Accordingly, at about 9 pm on May 27, at Km132+00 National Highway 2, a task force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 discovered a car with license plate 22A-252.17 driven by a male driver.
When approaching the alcohol concentration checkpoint, this person suddenly stopped the car, turned off the engine, locked the door and crawled to the back seat to pretend to sleep.
Functional forces approached and called many times, but the man did not respond and did not open the car door. After that, the working group verified and contacted the driver's relatives to bring the spare key to open the car to handle the incident.
When getting out of the car and being asked to check for alcohol concentration, driver V.D. L (born 1985) continued to show signs of non-cooperation, lying on the road. After being propagandized, this person admitted the violation and complied with the inspection.
The measurement results showed that the driver's alcohol concentration was 0.277 mg/l of breath.
The working group made a record of administrative violation according to regulations. With this level of violation, the driver faces a fine of 18 to 20 million VND and a deduction of 10 points from the driver's license.
