On the evening of May 26, the Traffic Police Department of Quang Binh Province Police confirmed that the driver of a taxi with license plate 73F-005.xx that collided with traffic late on May 23 on Tran Quang Khai Street, Dong Phu Ward (Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province) had reported.
This person was identified as Nguyen Dinh H (23 years old, residing in Dong Phu ward).
At the police station, driver H confessed that he was scared and left the scene immediately after the accident. After calming down, H voluntarily went to report the incident.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 11:20 p.m. on May 23, a taxi driven by driver H collided with a motorbike with license plate 73B1-233.xx, injuring Mr. Tran Van Anh (38 years old, residing in Le Thuy District) and Mr. Ha Hong Tan (30 years old, residing in Tuy Phuoc District, Binh Dinh Province). Both victims were taken to the emergency room by local people immediately after the incident.
The provincial Traffic Police Department has made a case file and coordinated with related parties to investigate the cause of the accident. The handling level for the driver will be based on the results of the investigation and the level of injury of the victim.
