On the morning of May 21, the People's Committee of Kim Hoa commune (Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province) confirmed that an primary school student had just died in the area.
According to initial information, on the afternoon of May 20, P.Q.M's family (residing in Kim Tien village, Kim Hoa commune) went home from work but did not see him at home. After the search was not results, relatives reported the incident to the local authorities.
The authorities and local people have organized a search. By the evening of the same day, M's body was discovered in an area about 1km from her house in the river flowing through the area.
Immediately afterwards, the victim's body was taken home for funeral arrangements according to local customs.
Currently, the authorities are clarifying the cause of the incident. The local government has also sent officials to visit and encourage the victim's family.
