On May 24, Quang Binh Provincial Police are investigating and clarifying the traffic accident that occurred late on May 23 on Tran Quang Khai Street, Dong Phu Ward (Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province).
According to initial information, at around 11:20 p.m., a taxi with license plate 73F-005.xx traveling on Tran Quang Khai Street collided with a motorbike with license plate 73B1-233.xx.
The accident caused 2 people on the motorbike, Mr. Tran Van Anh (38 years old, residing in Le Thuy district) and Mr. Ha Hong Tan (30 years old, residing in Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province) to fall onto the road, seriously injured.
The motorbike at the scene was severely damaged. However, the taxi driver drove the vehicle away from the scene immediately.
People nearby quickly called an ambulance to take the two victims to the hospital for treatment.
The authorities are clarifying the identity of the driver at the time of the accident and investigating the cause of the incident.
