Specifically, in the process of performing their duties, the task force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 (Dak Lak Provincial Police Traffic Police Department) stopped and inspected a truck with license plate 78C. XXX. XX circulating on National Highway 1 in accordance with regulations.
Through inspection with specialized equipment, functional forces discovered that the vehicle driver violated the alcohol concentration at 0.43 mg/liter of breath, exceeding 0.4 mg/liter of breath.
This is the highest level of violation for car drivers according to current regulations.
Immediately after that, the working group made a record of administrative violation and temporarily seized the vehicle to prevent the act of continuing to drive the vehicle after using alcohol and beer.
According to the provisions of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP of the Government, for the act of driving a car with an alcohol concentration in the blood or breath exceeding 0.4 mg/liter of breath, the violator will be fined from 30 million VND to 40 million VND. At the same time, the right to use the driver's license will be revoked from 22 months to 24 months.
According to the Traffic Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police, in the above case, the driver is expected to be fined 35 million VND, and have his driving license revoked for 23 months.
