With the determination of the local government, the prolonged "bottlenecks" in site clearance work are gradually being removed, creating a premise for many key traffic projects to accelerate construction and put them into operation soon.
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Pham Trung Kien - Deputy Director of the Thanh Xuan Ward Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board said that the site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 Project section passing through the ward has basically been completed. Currently, only a few points are being dismantled, waste is being treated and transported out of the project area.

At the Linh Nam road upgrade and expansion project and the section coinciding with Ring Road 2.5, site clearance is also being promoted. These are important radial and ring road traffic axes of the Capital, with high traffic volume, and frequent congestion in areas such as Vinh Tuy market and Long Thuyen market.
Representatives of the Vinh Hung Ward Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board said that the unit is highly focused on site clearance. According to the plan, Linh Nam road passes through 5 wards including: Vinh Hung, Linh Nam, Hoang Mai, Tuong Mai and Vinh Tuy; of which about 1.9km coincides with Ring Road 2.5.

Vinh Hung ward has completed site clearance according to commitments before March 30, 2026. Currently, the locality is coordinating with neighboring wards, including Hoang Mai ward, to accelerate the demolition of the project and soon hand over the entire clean site to the construction unit.
For the Linh Nam road section from Ring Road 2.5 to adjacent to Tam Trinh street, Vinh Hung ward is coordinating with Tuong Mai and Vinh Tuy wards to deploy site clearance and demolition of works. Because the site has not been fully handed over, the units are implementing according to the motto "where there is site, construct there", striving to complete the project on schedule as committed.
Regarding the Linh Nam road project, the section passing through Tuong Mai ward also recorded many positive changes. Representatives of the Tuong Mai ward Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board said that the locality is determined to complete site clearance before June 15.

Currently, out of a total of 216 households subject to land acquisition, 95 households have been approved for compensation plans; 77 households have received money and handed over land. The ward has also identified boundaries and completed dossiers of about 130 households to hand over to the project management unit to implement the next steps.
For the Tam Trinh road expansion project, site clearance is basically completed according to schedule. Households have handed over 100% of the land area and dismantled works on the land. However, the project still has problems related to 55 households with agricultural land waiting for the city to agree on a plan to determine compensation prices between localities to ensure the rights of people.
This is the non-agricultural land area previously allocated by Thanh Mai Cooperative for services. Currently, the city has assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to review and re-determine land prices. Although the compensation plan is built on the basis of non-agricultural - service land prices, some households wish to apply it according to residential land prices.
Faced with this reality, relevant units are reporting to Hanoi City for consideration and settlement in order to unify compensation policies between Hoang Mai and Tuong Mai wards.
Although most of the site has been handed over, the construction unit, Truong Son Construction Corporation, is still facing many difficulties due to the complex underground technical infrastructure system. Many power lines and water supply pipelines were built in 1982, while the management records are incomplete, causing many obstacles in determining the exact location. Therefore, the construction process must combine with finding the current status to avoid incidents.
Hanoi's simultaneous acceleration of site clearance and construction of key transport projects shows the great determination of authorities at all levels in removing difficulties and promoting the progress of public investment. Although there are still obstacles related to land price determination and underground technical infrastructure, close coordination between localities, project management boards and contractors is contributing to bringing projects to gradually overcome obstacles and move closer to the goal of completion according to plan.
