Although it was the last day at the old unit, all officers and employees of the Post and Telecommunications Department of the Department of Information and Communications of Bac Lieu province seriously worked urgently.
Ms. Huynh Thu Nhan, Deputy Head of the Department, said that she had submitted an application for early retirement, but still went to work normally on the last day. Ms. Nhan is worried that Bac Lieu province is preparing to organize the Vietnam - Bac Lieu Salt Festival in 2025, so communication and journalism work is still taken charge.
Mr. Bui Thanh Toan, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Bac Lieu province, said: According to the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, on March 1, the Department of Information and Communications officially terminated its operations, and he himself was appointed as Director of the Department of Science and Technology, but due to the general task, the brothers in the Department of Information and Communications still had to work normally, including Saturdays and Sundays to complete the tasks previously assigned by the Festival Steering Committee.
On the afternoon of February 28, officials from the Department of Planning and Investment issued an invitation to attend the Investment Promotion Conference taking place on March 7.
Meanwhile, all staff of the (old) Department of Finance on February 28 worked seriously. During two days, Saturday and Sunday, the agency will carry out the arrangement of documents and records to prepare for relocation to a new workplace to hand over the agency to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Similarly, the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Lieu province is also preparing to relocate to the headquarters of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (old) for work.
The first Vietnam - Bac Lieu Salt Festival 2025 will take place from March 6 to 8. It is expected that about 1,150 delegates will attend.
