Focus on work, no discussation
Chairman of Bac Lieu suggested that district-level leaders focus on socio-economic management, drastically from March 2025. Because at this time, all departments and district-level boards have been consolidated and reorganized according to regulations.
According to the Chairman of Bac Lieu, the new apparatus must operate better than the old one. In the immediate future, focus on leading and directing Party Congresses at all levels, developing the socio-economy, stabilizing the spirit of cadres, civil servants, and public employees. Not neglecting work or having fluctuating thoughts.

Implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and thoroughly grasping the direction of the Central Government, on January 24, 2025, Bac Lieu province has so far perfected the organization of the review and streamlining of staff in conjunction with restructuring and building a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees with sufficient qualities, prestige and capacity to match the tasks.
A department has 48 people voluntarily resigning
To streamline the apparatus, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Bac Lieu has 48 cadres voluntarily resigning to give to others with more capacity. Mr. Luu Hoang Ly - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Bac Lieu - said that the number of 48 people in a department is considered large, but in reality the number of employees in the department is large. 48 people have applied for leave, the department will make a list and submit it to the competent authority for decision.

Meanwhile, the Standing Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee also approved the early retirement of 4 Provincial Party Committee members. Specifically: Director of the Department of Construction, Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee.
Bac Lieu Provincial Police also agreed to let 13 officers who are heads and deputy heads of provincial departments retire early.
The Department of Home Affairs of Bac Lieu said that there are currently no official figures for district-level cadres who have resigned after the arrangement.
In response to the information that some cadres and workers have asked for leave but have not been approved, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province requested that all levels and sectors need to propagate so that cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers can feel secure in their ideology.

Regarding cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who are eligible to apply the provisions of Decree 178/2024/ND-CP, have a voluntary application for early retirement or resignation, the head of the agency or unit shall make a list and estimate the amount of policy implementation for each specific case and send it to the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Finance for synthesis and appraisal and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for approval. The Chairman of Bac Lieu also noted: In case the head of an agency or unit does not agree to let cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers take leave, he/she must respond in writing and state the reason.
After being approved by the Provincial People's Committee, promptly implement the payment of policies and regimes to cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in accordance with regulations.
