On the morning of September 29, the authorities of Quang Tri province are searching for 2 fishing boats in distress in the waters of Quang Tri province.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, at 9:25 a.m. the same day, the patrol team of Quang Tri Border Guard discovered the BV 92756 TS ship drifting ashore, about 50m from shore in Thanh Hai village, Bac Trach commune, Quang Tri province.

Recorded at the scene, at the time of discovery, the ship capsized, part of the ship's bottom rose above the water.

Currently, the authorities are planning to salvage and confirm whether the victims are on board or not.

Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at 11:30 p.m. on September 28, two fishing vessels BV-92756-TS and BV-92754-TS with a total of 13 crew members were anchored in Xuan Loc residential group, Bac Gianh ward (close to Gianh bridge) when suddenly broke their anchor ropes due to heavy rain and storm.

The ships drifted freely and were in distress. Immediately after the incident, the 4 crew members swam to shore safely, and 9 people are still missing.
