On the morning of the 1st day of the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026, the Traffic Police force of Tay Ninh Provincial Police simultaneously launched a campaign to check alcohol concentration to ensure traffic order and safety, serving people to enjoy a safe spring trip.
According to the Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police, implementing the plan of the Traffic Police Department, from 10:00 AM on February 17 (ie, the 1st day of Tet), the entire provincial traffic police force has deployed working groups to simultaneously check alcohol concentration on many key traffic routes.

The campaign aims to strengthen the assurance of traffic order and safety in the first days of the new year, a time when the demand for travel, entertainment, meetings, and Tet greetings of people is high. Task forces are arranged on central roads of communes and wards; provincial roads; areas with large concentrations of people such as entertainment and dining spots,... to check alcohol concentration for vehicle drivers.
The inspection process is carried out publicly, transparently, in accordance with procedures, with recording according to regulations. In addition to handling alcohol concentration violations, functional forces also strengthen inspection and handling of other violations such as speeding, going in the wrong lane, carrying more people than prescribed, not wearing helmets,... to prevent traffic accidents during Tet.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that people absolutely do not drive after using alcohol or beer; proactively choose public transport or ask relatives to take them home to ensure safety for themselves and the community.

At the same time, traffic participants need to strictly comply with traffic safety regulations such as driving in the correct lane and lane; keeping a safe distance; complying with traffic lights; not speeding or overtaking recklessly; wearing standard helmets when driving motorbikes and motorcycles and limiting movement near heavy-tonnage vehicles due to the existence of many dangerous blind spots.
