On July 2nd, Binh Phuoc Ward People's Committee said that people in the ward accidentally discovered a rare pangolin and a birman kite.
People determined that these were two individuals of rare forest animals, not allowed to be arbitrarily kept in captivity, so they contacted local authorities to hand them over. At the same time, they wished that rare animal individuals could live in the natural environment and join hands with functional sectors to protect wildlife.
The individuals have been handed over to Mobile Forest Protection Team No. 2 under the Dong Nai City Forest Protection Department and the Propaganda, Tourism and Rescue and Conservation Center - Bu Gia Map National Park.
Mobile Forest Protection Team No. 2 determined that this is a Java pangolin and a bird's tail bird belonging to the group IB forest animal listed in the list of endangered, precious and rare forest plants and animals, prioritized for protection. These two wild animal individuals are in normal health.
Currently, the units continue to carry out rescue steps and protect the two wild animal individuals according to regulations.
