On the morning of March 30, the 15th Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031, opened its first session. At this session, it will elect the Chairman, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, establish committees of the Provincial People's Council and some other important contents.
The 15th Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council with 59 delegates was recognized as elected in the recent election.
Previously, on the afternoon of March 29, the 14th Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, held the 13th session (the last session) to vote to pass 6 important resolutions under its authority.
Among the 6 resolutions passed, there is a resolution on approving the policy of assigning the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee as the managing agency to implement the Lang Son - Thai Nguyen expressway construction investment project.
Resolution on approving the supplementation of the list of projects subject to land recovery and adjusting the list of projects subject to land recovery in Thai Nguyen province.
Resolution on amending Article 2 of the Regulation on the content and level of expenditure to support medical examination and treatment, disease prevention, and nursing for veteran revolutionary cadres, pre-insurrection cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, cadres under protection and health care and some other subjects in the area.
Notably, at this final session, the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution on repealing 2 resolutions of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council (before arrangement) and 8 resolutions of the Bac Kan Provincial People's Council (before arrangement).
In which, some resolutions directly related to regimes, policies and infrastructure development, public asset management such as Resolution No. 05/2010/NQ-HDND dated July 29, 2010 of the People's Council of Bac Kan province on stipulating the regime of financial support for cadres transferred to work at agencies at district and commune levels.
Resolution No. 08/2018/NQ-HDND dated July 17, 2018 of the People's Council of Bac Kan province approving the Program to support investment in technical infrastructure of Bac Kan province industrial clusters until 2025.
Resolution No. 21/2024/NQ-HDND dated December 10, 2024 of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council stipulates the authority to decide on the management and use of public assets and purchase of goods and services of agencies, organizations, and units under the management scope of Thai Nguyen province.
