Prime Minister reappoints Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Hoang Giang

    Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to reappoint Mr. Dang Hoang Giang to the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

    Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed a decision on personnel for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    In Decision No. 489/QD-TTg dated March 27, 2026, the Prime Minister decided to reappoint Mr. Dang Hoang Giang to the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The term of appointment is 5 years.

    Mr. Dang Hoang Giang was born in 1977 in Bac Ninh; graduated with a Master's degree in International Relations, Diplomatic Academy of Foreign Affairs.

    Mr. Dang Hoang Giang started working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2000, undergoing many positions. From March 2021 to February 2022, before being appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Head of the Vietnamese Mission to the United Nations, Mr. Dang Hoang Giang was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

    The current Minister of Foreign Affairs is Mr. Le Hoai Trung - Member of the 14th Politburo.
