According to the decision, the Thai Nguyen Traffic Safety Board is allowed to terminate its operations after completing the transfer of functions, tasks, personnel, finances, assets, dossiers, documents and related contents to departments, branches, and agencies according to the accompanying dissolution plan.
Traffic Safety Boards of communes and wards in the province also terminate their operations. Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for organizing dissolution in accordance with legal regulations.
The decision takes effect from June 1.
The tasks previously performed by the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee will be assigned to departments, branches, and localities to receive and implement according to their functions and tasks.
The Provincial Police are assigned to take the lead in monitoring and summarizing the situation; coordinating with departments, branches, and localities in ensuring order and traffic safety.
Implement periodic and unscheduled reports; advise on handling serious traffic accident situations and implement solutions to ensure traffic order and safety on roads, railways, and inland waterways.
The Department of Construction presides over the field of road, rail, and inland waterway traffic infrastructure. Receives personnel, dossiers, assets, and equipment of the Provincial Traffic Safety Board.
At the same time, continue to deploy tasks related to handling traffic accident black spots, protecting traffic infrastructure...
People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for organizing the handover of tasks, dossiers, documents and assigning specialized departments to continue to perform state management tasks on traffic order and safety in the locality.
The decision clearly states that within 30 days from the date of effectiveness, the Provincial Traffic Safety Board, Commune and Ward People's Committees and relevant agencies must complete the handover and receipt of contents according to regulations.
