On December 7, the Vinh City Bypass BOT Branch (belonging to Cienco 4 Group Joint Stock Company) is using machinery to scrape and resurface the Lau Cau bridge on National Highway 1 through Thach Kenh commune (Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province).
This bridge has a hard median strip in the middle with 3 lanes on each side. The construction unit is scraping the middle lane in each direction of the bridge to ensure that vehicles can still pass through.
A few days ago, the Vinh City Bypass BOT Branch also repaired, scraped, and resurfaced the Nghen Bridge in Nghen Town, Can Loc District, Ha Tinh Province. To date, the resurface of this bridge has been completed.

According to the Vinh City Bypass BOT Branch, this time the unit focused on repairing 10 bridges in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. In Ha Tinh, 7 bridges were repaired including: Ben Thuy 2, Treo Vot, Trai Trau, Hoi Sau, Nghen, Lau Cau and Sim bridges.

The repair items include damage to the bridge deck and expansion joints. This repair project has a total cost of nearly 12 billion VND and strives to complete the repair before December 31, 2024.
Also according to the representative of the Vinh City Bypass BOT Branch, from the beginning of 2024 until now, this unit has repaired more than 115,000m2 of damaged road surface area with SBS anti-rutting asphalt concrete structure. The total repair cost is more than 61.5 billion VND.
The project to upgrade and expand National Highway 1 from the south of Ben Thuy Bridge to the north of Ha Tinh City bypass, 35km long, with a budget of more than VND2,400 billion, is invested by Cienco 4 Group Joint Stock Company under the BOT form; the project was completed and put into use in 2014.
