On July 30, Mr. Do Trong Hung - Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, along with many provincial leaders, visited, presented gifts, and encouraged officials, engineers, workers, and laborers working on the construction site of the 500kV transmission line project, phase 3, passing through Nong Cong district and Nghi Son town.
According to the report of the Central Power Projects Management Board, the 500kV transmission line project, phase 3, Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa section is 92km long; of which the section passing through Thanh Hoa province is approximately 74.6km long, including 166 pole foundation positions in Nghi Son town and 5 districts: Nong Cong, Nhu Thanh, Thieu Hoa, Trieu Son, Dong Son, and 82 tension spans.
As of July 30, the 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa transmission line project has completed 200/200 foundation positions; 178 steel poles have been erected, and 22 steel poles are being erected, striving to complete the pole erection by August 2, 2024, and to complete the wire pulling of the Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa section by August 15, 2024.
Visiting the construction site in Thang Tho commune (Nong Cong) and Cac Son commune (Nghi Son town), Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Trong Hung emphasized: The 500kV transmission line project, phase 3, is a national key project, playing a particularly important role in ensuring the country's energy security, aiming to transmit electricity from the South to the Central and Northern regions, ensuring economic - social development, people's livelihoods, and national defense and security.
According to Mr. Do Trong Hung, since the beginning of 2024, the Government and the Prime Minister have paid special attention to leadership, direction, and have identified this as a particularly important project that must be completed. Following the directives of the Government and the Prime Minister, Thanh Hoa province has identified this as a key project of key projects, with 131km of transmission lines and 299 pole positions... passing through various terrains from plains to mountainous areas.
To implement the project, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, and the People's Committee have directed departments and sectors to proactively coordinate closely with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the State Capital Management Committee, Vietnam Electricity Group, central ministries, and mobilized the entire political system to participate, with the highest political determination.
Therefore, Thanh Hoa is one of the localities that handed over the site for pole foundation construction and tension spans the earliest. Along with doing well in site clearance, promoting the tradition of "great rear for the front line," the Party Committee, government, and people of Thanh Hoa province have supported, shared, and encouraged officials and engineers working on the construction site both materially and spiritually.
Mr. Do Trong Hung sincerely thanked the contractors, officials, engineers, and workers on the construction site for overcoming difficulties, harsh weather, and challenging terrain with the spirit of "overcoming the sun, winning the rain" in performing their tasks; highly appreciated the local party committees and governments where the project passes through for their decisive and synchronous implementation of the project according to the Prime Minister's directives.
