On May 26, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that Mr. Le Quang Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - signed a decision on the liquidation of many public cars of units under the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
According to the approved list, many vehicles with decades of service are subject to liquidation. Among them, it is noteworthy that the Uot vehicle of the Lang Chanh Protection Forest Management Board was put into use in 1985, with a original price of about 90 million VND. This is the vehicle with the longest service life in this liquidation period.
In addition, some car lines that were commonly used in state agencies are also on the list of liquidation sales such as Mitsubishi Pajero of Thanh Hoa Sub-Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development, used since 1999, original price of more than 559 million VND.
Another Mitsubishi Pajero car belonging to the Thanh Hoa Center for Environmental Monitoring and Quality Certification of Agricultural Products was put into use in 2001, with a original price of more than 635 million VND.
In addition, many pickup trucks serving forest protection work were also put under liquidation such as Toyota Hilux used since 2003, original price nearly 889 million VND; Isuzu Dmax used since 2011, original price more than 934 million VND.
The liquidation list also includes vehicles such as Ford Ranger, Ford Laser, Mitsubishi Jolie and Isuzu trucks used in the period from 2002 to 2009.
Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant units to carry out the liquidation of public assets in accordance with legal regulations; and at the same time manage and account for the amount collected after liquidation according to current regulations.
