At about 8:30 am today (June 23), a fire suddenly broke out fiercely at a point for tourists and people taking photos, erected during the 2026 Lunar New Year in 30/10 Square, Ha Long ward.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Fighting force of Quang Ninh Provincial Police arrived and extinguished the fire in a few minutes.
According to a representative of the Quang Ninh Museum - Library (under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province), this "check-in" point was knocked down in some locations by thunderstorms, so today workers were sent out to cut and dismantle to clear the ground for an upcoming event.
During the cutting and removal process, the fire caught onto the surrounding foam, causing a large fire. Fortunately, the fire was controlled and extinguished in time, without affecting the "check-in" area for 8 horses right there.
