Thanh Hoa - Discovering a wild monkey straying into the house grounds, people protected it and handed it over to functional agencies.

On July 14, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Yen Dinh Commune Police had just received a wild monkey individual handed over by people.

On the same morning, Yen Dinh Commune Police received information from the family of Mr. Trinh Thanh Quang (born in 1979, residing in Quan Lao 1 village, Yen Dinh commune) about the discovery of a wild monkey straying into the house grounds.

Immediately after that, Mr. Quang's family and surrounding people protected the monkey individual, and proactively contacted and handed it over to the police agency.

After receiving it, Yen Dinh Commune Police reported and advised the Commune People's Committee and coordinated with functional units to organize temporary care for the monkey individual, and at the same time contacted Thach Thanh Forest Protection Department to coordinate handling according to regulations.

After checking and assessing the health status, functional units agreed to release the monkey individual back to the natural environment, ensuring safety and in accordance with regulations.
