The trains increased their concentration on high-demand routes such as Saigon - Nha Trang, Saigon - Tam Ky, Saigon - Da Nang and vice versa.

According to the plan, railway transportation for Binh Ngo 2026 Tet will take place from February 3, 2026 to March 8, 2026 (ie from December 16, At Ty year to January 20, Binh Ngo year), with 55 trains, more than 800 carriages, providing about 335,000 tickets.
Binh Ngo 2026 train tickets will officially be on sale from September 20, 2025. After more than 3 months of opening for sale, as of December 22, 2025, the railway industry has sold more than 140,000 tickets, reaching about 62% over the same period of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Of which, online ticket sales channels account for 67%, the remaining 90% of tickets are sold at ticket counters at stations.
The railway industry said that there are still train tickets at many times. In the pre-Tet period from February 3 to February 9, 2026 (before December 23,) and from February 14 to February 16, 2026 (December 27 - 29), there are still tickets to go from the South to Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hanoi stations.
During the peak period from February 10 to February 14, 2026 (December 23 - 27), there are about 700 seats left on all trains, mainly soft-seat tickets, with stations from Saigon, Di An, Bien Hoa to Vinh, Hanoi.
During and after Tet, there are still quite a lot of tickets for all days and stations.
