On March 22, Lao Dong Newspaper published an article Clarifying information reflecting the construction of a power line in Yen Bai, the content shows: during the construction of the power grid system through village 3, Thanh Thinh commune, Tran Yen district, a local resident filmed a clip of the scene of a foundation hole and posted it online with the affirmation that the concrete quality was not up to standards, low labels, and there were signs of being less crowded...
After the article was published, on March 23, during a working session with reporters, representatives of the construction unit and the investor provided records and documents related to the incident.
According to the design documents, this item belongs to the power grid renovation project of Dao Thinh Com Committee substation, burying a total of 23 electric pole clusters.
Including a cluster of 2 pillars (1 foundation hole) will be located right in front of the turn to Dao Thinh market and the grocery store of Mr. C's family in village 3, Thanh Thinh commune, Tran Yen district.
During the construction process in early March 2025, Mr. C and his family gave their opinions because they thought that the location of the electric pole affected the traffic and living conditions... However, due to no authority to change the design, on March 6, 2025, the construction unit continued to dig and pour concrete for the foundation pit.
By the evening of the same day, clips filmed by Mr. C's family had been posted on social networking sites.

The construction unit also provided concrete mixing form showing the above time, the concrete was purchased from Yen Bai Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company, reaching label 100 according to design standards.
"We confirm that the concrete used to pour the foundation holes is fresh concrete purchased from a licensed unit. The score reached 100. There is no such thing as being less clinching or low labeling as reflected, said the representative.
According to this person, after the public opinion on the internet, the parties immediately went to the scene and agreed to leave the electric pole to another location about 2m away.
The date of the new foundation pit is March 13, 2025, still concrete purchased from Yen Bai Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company, meeting the design standards of 100.
At present, the installation of an electric pole through Mr. C's house has been completed. Mr. C and his family were completely happy and cooperated with relevant units.
"This change is to ensure harmonious rights between the State, people and businesses, not because of the quality of the foundation holes," the contractor's representative added.
