On March 21, responding to Lao Dong, Mr. Dinh Dang Sang - Director of Tran Yen Power Company said that Yen Bai Power Company is basically implementing the construction of a package to improve the quality of the medium and low voltage grid in 2024 - 2025 for public transformer stations in Tran Yen district.
Currently, construction units are digging foundations, burying poles, and pulling wires to upgrade power transmission in Thanh Thinh commune.
Regarding the reflection, according to Mr. Sang, during this process, there was a conflict in clearing the site for the burial of an electric pole with a household in village 3, Thanh Thinh commune.
After that, the family shared the content about the quality of the project and reported it to the authorities.
Mr. Sang did not directly answer questions about the quality of the project but only said: After receiving the information, Yen Bai Power Company coordinated with Tran Yen Power Company to establish a working group to inspect the site, evaluate the quality and construction volume, and clarify the cause of the incident. The electricity industry has required the contractor to ensure the progress and quality of the project.
Also related to this issue, according to Yen Bai Provincial Electricity, as soon as problems with construction quality were discovered, the supervision consulting unit proactively drew up a record of reminders, requesting the contractor to overcome and rectify them to ensure the project meets requirements.
