Lim Festival is a typical festival of the Kinh Bac region, a gathering place for the quintessence of Quan Ho folk songs.
This year, besides the solemn ceremony part, the festival part is vibrant with Quan Ho singing scenes, folk games and traditional cultural activities.
In September 2009, Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs were recognized by UNESCO as a Representative Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
In addition to Lim Festival, Bac Ninh is also known as a festival land with about 500 large and small festivals taking place year-round, creating a unique cultural picture of Kinh Bac countryside.
