On May 8, Thien Loc Commune People's Committee (Hanoi) said that the commune had organized a conference to review public investment work and the progress of key projects in the area.
According to the report, the total public investment plan for 2026 using the city budget and commune budget reached trillions of VND with hundreds of projects being implemented. Regarding the implementation of public investment projects, construction has been completed for 33 projects, contributing to improving the efficiency of capital use and completing infrastructure in the area.
Disbursement, construction and site clearance work continued to be focused on directing, achieving many outstanding results with more than 1,900 households being compensated, supported, and resettled with a total cost of nearly 483 billion VND; the recovered land area reached over 46ha. The volume of clean land handed over has increased significantly, with dozens of hectares serving the implementation of key projects. In which component project 1. 1 - Thuong Cat bridge and roads at both ends of the bridge have reached 100% of the site clearance volume, showing a clear change in implementation progress.
In addition, the handling of works, assets on land and relocation of graves were basically completed, ensuring the correct process, creating favorable conditions for projects to move to the construction phase, contributing to ensuring the overall progress according to the plan.
For the project to renovate and upgrade the Ta Hong dyke section from K48+165 to K64+126 in Dong Anh district (old), site clearance has been basically completed, meeting the conditions for construction on the entire route...
Contractors are focusing on constructing dyke foundations, retaining walls, slopes up the dyke and auxiliary items. The accumulated disbursed value from the beginning of the project to date has reached over 155 billion VND. The investor and construction units are accelerating progress, striving to complete the items according to the set plan.
For 3 projects to build roads outside fences connecting to Bac Thang Long Industrial Park (line 1, line 2, line 3), site clearance is being focused on being implemented in Bau, Co Dien, Vong La, Sap Mai, Dai Do, Mai Chau villages.
The report also clearly pointed out difficulties and obstacles in the project implementation process such as land origin verification, handling of land violations, lack of construction materials, fluctuations in material prices and site clearance progress in some areas...
Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, emphasized that public investment and site clearance are key tasks, of great significance for infrastructure development and promoting socio-economic development of the locality.
Mr. Dung requested departments, boards, and related units to continue to strengthen coordination, focus on removing difficulties, and accelerate the progress of site clearance; regularly inspect and urge contractors to mobilize manpower, machinery, and construction materials to ensure the progress and quality of works and the public investment capital disbursement plan for 2026.
The Thuong Cat bridge and road project at both ends of the bridge will start construction on October 8, 2025. The starting point intersects with Ky Vu road, Thuong Cat ward, the ending point of the route intersects with National Highway 23B, Thien Loc commune, with a total length of the entire route of 5.4km.
The total investment of the project is 7, 302 billion VND, of which construction costs are 5,893 billion VND. Implementation time from 2024-2027.
The total area recovered for project implementation is about 23.59 ha. Of which Thuong Cat ward is 6.96 ha, Thien Loc commune is 16.63 ha.
