On March 13, according to information from the Electricity Project Management Board 3, under Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), the Hieu Liem bridge section across the Dong Nai River, according to the plan, will be joined and technically opened to traffic on April 30; put into operation and use on June 30.
Previously, on December 29, 2024, EVN organized a ceremony to deploy the construction of Hieu Liem bridge under the Tri An Hydropower Plant expansion project.
Hieu Liem bridge project is an important item of the project, approved as a level II project with a length of 249.5 m, width of 9 m. The bridge was built with the aim of serving the transportation of materials and equipment during the project construction process.
After the project is completed, Hieu Liem bridge will be left to serve the travel needs of people in the area, helping to connect traffic and contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
The Tri An Hydropower Plant expansion project in Tri An commune, Dong Nai province is a national key project in the energy sector, which was started in August 2025. The project has a capacity scale of 200MW, expected to be completed and put into operation in 2027.
