On the evening of February 19th (the 3rd day of the first lunar month), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the site and wished Tet to officials and workers constructing the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway project.

At the Km45 construction site (Nhan Ly commune) and IC03 intersection (Ky Lua ward), the Prime Minister visited and inquired about the construction progress, living conditions, and policies for workers.
The Prime Minister acknowledged the spirit of working throughout Tet of units with the motto "3 shifts 4 shifts", "through Tet holidays, through holidays" to ensure progress.

The Prime Minister requested contractors, engineers, and workers to continue to emulate, maintain discipline, ensure quality and labor safety.
Local authorities are required to pay attention to the lives of workers, care for people affected by the project, and at the same time strengthen inspection, supervision and remove obstacles in the implementation process.
With Deo Ca contractor, the Prime Minister requested to mobilize more machinery, equipment, and manpower to accelerate progress, towards the goal of technical traffic opening of the entire route on April 30, 2026.


Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway is nearly 60 km long, passing through 7 communes and wards of Lang Son province, with a total investment of more than 11,000 billion VND, started on April 21, 2024. This is the first section of the North - South expressway axis in the East.
According to reports at the construction site, the project has mobilized nearly 3,000 officials, engineers, and workers with hundreds of construction teams.
In the context of mountainous terrain, complex geology and harsh weather, the units organized continuous construction to ensure progress, and by December 19, 2025, the route was opened.
When completed, the project is expected to increase connectivity in the northern border gate area, promote trade and socio-economic development of Lang Son and its vicinity.
