On March 22, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that state budget revenue in the area recorded many positive signs, ensuring progress right from the beginning of the year.
In the first quarter of 2026, total budget revenue is estimated at 11,314 billion VND, equivalent to 34.97% of the central budget estimate and 32.86% of the local budget estimate. Compared to the quarterly plan (9,950 billion VND), this result is quite good, creating positive room for the following quarters.
To achieve the above results, the locality has synchronously implemented many solutions from the beginning of the year. In which, closely monitor the collection progress according to each area, field, and tax code.
The work of combating revenue loss, inspecting and handling violations of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods has been strengthened, contributing to ensuring sustainable revenue sources.
At the same time, solutions to exploit new revenue sources are being promoted, especially in the fields of land, e-commerce and services.
The locality sets a target to increase budget revenue by at least 10% compared to the estimate by expanding the revenue base and improving management efficiency.
Along with that, economic growth continues to be an important foundation. In the first quarter of 2026, GRDP is estimated to increase by 9.8%. In which, the service and industrial sectors play a key role.
Export turnover reached about 783 million USD, equal to 92.12% of the Q1 plan, contributing to creating revenue and promoting production and business.
Trade promotion activities, consumer stimulus, and e-commerce development continue to be promoted, supporting businesses to expand markets.
In the coming time, the locality will continue to operate flexibly, strengthen coordination between sectors, and strive to complete and exceed the 2026 budget revenue estimate.
