On the afternoon of September 18, at the headquarters of Kinh Bac Ward People's Committee, Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi chaired a meeting to review the progress of investment and construction of a number of university projects in the area south of Cau River, Bac Ninh province.
According to the latest report, the project "Building Hanoi University of Pharmacy at the regional level" in Vo Cuong ward, Bac Ninh province has a total investment of 45 million USD (about 1,187 billion VND) from preferential loans from the Korean Government and more than 244 billion VND from counterpart funds from the Vietnamese Government.
Currently, the project has completed site clearance and has been issued the first Land allocation decision by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province with an area of 205,678.1m2.
In case the project can select and sign contracts with general contractors and international consulting contractors before December 31, 2025, Hanoi University of Pharmacy proposed that Bac Ninh province support the acceleration of procedures and processes in preparing construction infrastructure; granting construction permits to contractors and consulting units under the project...
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Le Xuan Loi said that for Hanoi University of Pharmacy, the province has carried out compensation and site clearance work, and it is necessary to soon find solutions for international bidding to speed up the project implementation progress.
Mr. Le Xuan Loi also assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Bac Ninh Province Urban Development and Civil Project Management Board No. 2 to support the procedures for granting a license to build and connect project infrastructure of Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
The Hanoi University of Pharmacy project at Bac Ninh is expected to meet the learning and living needs of about 5,000 students, preparing basic infrastructure to be able to expand scale in the future.
It is known that in recent times, Bac Ninh province has always paid attention to developing policies to attract investment, creating the most favorable conditions for universities to implement projects in the province with the goal of making Bac Ninh one of the leading training, research and development centers of universities in the country and the region.
