On December 5, Quang Binh Provincial Police said that a resident had just handed over a rare reticulated python.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam (residing in Lam Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province) while working in the area met a local who was taking care of a reticulated python and bought it. Realizing the importance of wildlife conservation and complying with the law, Mr. Nam decided to contact the authorities to hand over the reticulated python.
On December 4, Mr. Nam voluntarily handed over the rare reticulated python to Lam Thuy Commune Police and Lam Thuy Commune Forest Ranger Station.
The handover of the reticulated python not only helps preserve rare animals, but also contributes to raising public awareness about the importance of protecting nature and the environment.
Representatives of Lam Thuy Commune Police and Lam Thuy Forest Ranger Station acknowledged Mr. Nam's actions and called on local people to continue to cooperate and comply with regulations on wildlife protection.
