The project to renovate and repair the inter-commune road Van Mieu - Thuong Cuu, Thanh Son district was approved for investment policy by the old Thanh Son District People's Committee from November 16, 2022, according to Decision No. 652/QD-UBND.
By mid-October 2023, Package No. 08: Construction and installation of the project had completed the contractor selection and started construction (winning bid price of nearly 93.6 billion VND).
After the two-level local government model went into operation, the project was transferred to the Phu Tho Regional Project Management Board as the investor (formerly the Thanh Son District Regional Construction Investment Project Management Board).
According to research, the investor recently issued a bidding invitation notice for Package No. 16: Construction of adjusted and supplemented items - priced at over 66.7 billion VND from the provincial budget and other legally mobilized capital sources.
In the near future, after having the contractor selection results, the winning bidder will construct adjusted and supplemented items including: crushed stone grading, asphalt concrete pavement, road markings - Cost of temporary houses, auxiliary works serving construction within 365 days.

Regarding the construction investment scale of the project, the total length of the construction road is 15.94km; the starting point (Km0) intersects with Provincial Road 316L at Km4+450 in Van Mieu commune, the ending point (Km15+940.61) in Kha Cuu commune.
The entire route will be paved with asphalt concrete. On the straight road section, the roadbed width is 6.50m; the road surface width is 5.50m; the sidewalk is 0.50m wide on each side; on the curved road section, the roadbed and road surface are expanded according to the design standards corresponding to the radius of the curved road.
The "Tam Cuu" region is a common name when referring to 3 communes: Dong Cuu, Kha Cuu and Thuong Cuu of the old Thanh Son district (now merged into 1 commune, Kha Cuu).
This is one of the economically difficult highland areas of Phu Tho province. In particular, the road connecting Van Mieu commune to the "Tam Cuu" region, although the only arterial road, has been degraded for many years.
Previously, the road was densely packed with deep and wide holes up to a meter wide, many locations were almost as wide as the road surface. Not only bumpy, on rainy days, deep holes with stagnant water form stagnant ponds, and on sunny days they are covered in dust.
Now, not only the above-mentioned road is being renovated and upgraded, but Phu Tho province is also preparing to invest in building the Tan Pheo inter-commune road to Kha Cuu.

These are two mountainous communes, although adjacent, they are divided by the high hills of Da Bac district, former Hoa Binh province and Thanh Son district, Phu Tho province before the merger.
As Lao Dong newspaper has reported, the regional liaison road project from Tan Pheo commune to Kha Cuu commune has a total investment of 360 billion VND invested by the Hoa Binh Regional Project Management Board.
The road being built will be about 11.52km long. The starting point intersects with provincial road 433 in Tan Pheo commune; the ending point intersects with Van Mieu - Thuong Cuu road in Kha Cuu commune.
Currently, the project is in the process of preparing for investment. In 2027, the project will implement investment and in 2029 it will be completed and put into operation.
