This morning, functional forces organized the transportation of a patient for emergency treatment by waterway. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Van Cong (born 1967, residing in Dong But village, Yen Binh commune) suspected of tetanus infection was taken to the commune health station for emergency treatment.
After examination, Yen Binh Commune Health Station directed the patient to be transferred to a higher level for further treatment.
Due to the roads being cut off by floodwaters, Yen Binh commune has arranged motorboats to take patients out of the flooded area.
At that time, the boat was carrying patients and transportation supporters.
When the boat moved about 200m, due to the fast flowing water and encountering an obstacle, it encountered an accident.
The Commune People's Committee urgently mobilized functional forces and people to organize search and rescue.
All 7 people on the boat were rescued and taken to a safe location.
