Found 1 body in garbage truck crash on Binh Thanh bridge in Hue

HUE - Found 1 of 2 missing victims of garbage truck falling off Binh Thanh bridge (Huong Tra town, Thua Thien Hue).

At around 8:00 a.m. on November 23, authorities in Hue found the body of one of the two missing victims after a garbage truck crashed into the railing of Binh Thanh Bridge and plunged into Huu Trach River, leaving two men missing.

Initial assessment, the victim was identified as Mr. Ton That T. (born in 1997, residing in Thuy Van ward, Hue city). The location where the victim's body was found was about 6.3km from the accident site.

Currently, the search for the remaining victims is continuing.

As Lao Dong reported, on the morning of November 21, Mr. Ton That T. (born in 1997, residing in Thuy Van ward, Hue city) - the driver of a garbage canoe with license plate 75C-04483, carrying Mr. Nguyen Dang T. (born in 1966, residing in Phuong Duc ward, Hue city) - was traveling along Provincial Road 12D from National Highway 49 - Binh Thanh Commune People's Committee, when reaching the middle of Binh Thanh suspension bridge, he hit the bridge railing and fell into the river.
